Prospective and Prospective Plus Membershiis appropriate for a company or person that plans to open a licensed Assisted Living community or a community that is under development. Once the community is opened, licensed, and operating, then Prospective Members can switch to Provider Membership.

     Ruth (AI Regulatory Assistant) 

Ruth is a custom AI Mascot developed by WiseOx for TALA to help its members navigate the complexities of Texas assisted living regulations. Ruth provides access to a comprehensive database of statutes, regulations, provider letters, technical memos, FAQ documents, AG opinions, and TALA curated information.

Inclusion on TALA Career Portal 

The TALA Career Portal allows job seekers to search for a career in senior living by job title, city, zip code or MOS (Military Occupational Specialty code). The portal is auto populated by career pages of TALA’s members, and for those without an ATS, there is a manual upload.

TALA’s educational offerings are dedicated to raising the bar of operational quality in the industry as well as promoting best practices and knowledge that will enhance the care and well-being of residents.

  • Annual conference where executive directors and nurses can obtain required continuing education hours (CEUs). 
  • Continuing education & initial training through webinars, an on-demand platform, and in-person events.

  • HHSC authorized provider of AL Manager's Classes required of all new Texas AL Manager's.
