Individual Membership is appropriate for those employed at an Assisted Living community that is not 

a TALA member. Dues are $125 per calendar year. 

Individual Membership: Individual membership is perfect for those in Texas Assisted Living who work at companies that are not TALA members. If you work at a company that is a TALA member, you are automatically a TALA member. 

Benefit : The sole benefit of an Individual Membership is to obtain discounts on all of TALA’s educational programs and its annual conference. 

The Strength of TALA: TALA is a resource for Advocacy, Education, Workforce Development, and more. TALA provides insight into important topics, resources, events, and tools that make the day-to-day easier for AL professionals. TALA also provides timely alerts and communications - from the TALAView newsletter to TALAHour webinars to TALALens articles and more - on what’s happening in Texas Assisted Living.

TALA’s educational offerings are dedicated to raising the bar of operational quality in the industry as well as promoting best practices and knowledge that will enhance the care and well-being of residents.  

Annual conference where EDs and nurses can obtain required annual continuing education hours (CEUs). 

Continuing education & initial training through TALA's on-demand Learning Center, webinars, and in-person events. Including specialized dementia content. 

AL Manager's Classes required of all new Texas AL Manager's. ($400 member vs $550 non-member)
